I got this fleece shirt (in berry) for an upcoming high-elevation hiking trip. I'm not crazy about the color (it's bright) but I love the way it fits so I'll keep it. It hugs my body but is still roomy enough to wear a shirt under. I got a medium (5.7, 130 lbs.) and could probably fit a small, but the larger size will be better for layering. It also has nice features that make this jacket special like a drawstring at the bottom, thumb holes, wind flap and a sleeve pocket. It's also longer than most fleece tops which is a big plus for me. I wouldn't call this a mid-layer as the fleece makes it a bit bulkier. It's best worn on its own for chilly mornings or under a jacket in extra cold conditions. It's lightweight so will travel well (especially in my pack), and looks very sporty! Marmot has become my favorite outfitter for outdoor wear. They really know how to make clothes that fit a woman's body.I wear a 12 and got the XL. It is like a comfy tunic which I like the cut. Looks best zipped to the top. It is a fairly thick fleece and a past reviewer said it was like a mid layer item. Seems a bit thick for that. I gave it 4/5 stars because I find the fleece is slowly coming off on my seat belt.I was kind of nervous, I bought it and got couple fleece for xmas. Turns out, glad I kept it! LOVE IT! Wearing it right now actually. Very warm and cute, love the thumb holes! Also glad I got a medium size ( I am 5' 3", and 125 lbs.).. Love that it has a tighten bungee string at the bottom. Love it!Love this pullover! Great quality. I have washed it and worn it several times already and still looks great. Very comfy and warm but not bulky. True fit. This is a midlayer item. Really looks like more of an underwear item. However, does the job. Like the ultralight, ultra thin feature. The pocket on the side came off within 3 months of purchasing this three quarter length zip. I had to take to the cleaners and have them sew the pocket. Very frustrating. Otherwise a very cozy pullover. If you normally wear a large, I would consider getting an XL if you plan to wear anything underneath the pullover.warm, fits well and the material is soft. it is the best 1/2 zip shirt i own and i own many.Great dashing colour , wore it with my North face white gilet when I went ski ing, really warm and top quality so it will last .I've had a Marmot previously and they don't pill like some less expensive makes. ...buy one !
