The Scully brand of embroidered shirts are truly nice pieces. This one is heavy when you hold it and wear it, but shouldn’t be hot, because the body of the shirts hot overly thick. For a guy like myself, who doesn’t have a stomach, the fit is excellent and doesn’t hang sloppily at my waist.I’d not call it a slim fit, but it isn’t loose either. Kind of between the too.On me, it looks tailored and tucks in to my pants smoothly. The stitching and artwork on this shirt are impeccably done and you don’t feel as if it was added. It feels as if it was hand stitched in to the fabric. No loose threads and the snaps and such are quality and snap tightly. The thing that is interesting is the pockets on my shirt don’t open.Underneath the back, I’ve got the envelopes, and all, but from the front they simply don’t open.Maybe this is a flaw on my shirt?I’m okay with it, but some might want their pockets. I researched with the dealer I purchased from, and I learned I'm not the first person to point this out. They are researching it.They suggest it might be possible to remove some threading or cut them open.On the sleeves, the three top buttons are also not useable, but this is by design, because the cuffs don’t open that far up anyway. Its for looking good purposes, and does the job.Its not 100% cotton, but feels soft and smooth, and the best part about that mix, is you can just wash it, hang dry it, and its ready to make you shine again. Now, the only thing left for me to do, is go have that drink at the bar and catch some eyes like it claims in the description. It’s a beautiful shirt.
