The merino wool does not disappoint: super soft and luxurious. In general, wool provides warmth but breathes to prevent getting sweaty (or stinky). But it can be scratchy. It doesn't bother me much, but people sensitive to it would not like them until they are well broken in.Not merino: super soft. I don't think anyone would have a problem wearing it.
