When I was in high school (1972) I wanted to get this shirt. There was no way however that I was going to spend the 25 hours it would take at that time, working at my minimum wage job just so I could buy a shirt.I was shopping for wool shirts recently and wondered . . . was it possible that the particular Pendleton shirt I had once coveted was still being made? An Amazon search revealed that not only is the shirt is still available, it is now more affordable, at least in inflation adjusted dollars, than it was back in 1972.The Pendleton classic wool shirt, in Black Watch Tartan, it is everything I had ever dreamed it would be.
